TED2022 A NEW ERA
A lot has changed since TED last gathered in Vancouver three years ago. We return not for more of the same, wonderful though that was, but to celebrate a new era. Despite the awfulness we’ve lived through, the future beckons with extraordinary possibilities we couldn’t have dreamt of. In medicine, in AI, in clean energy, in the ways we work, the ways we learn, and in the fundamental economic and social systems that underpin everything else.
Upcoming Events
A TEDx event is a local gathering where live TED-like talks and performances are shared with the community. TEDx events are fully planned and coordinated independently by volunteers, on a community-by-community basis. The content and design of each TEDx event is unique and developed independently, but all of them have features in common.

Our flagship TEDxBrayfordPool conference returns for our fifth year and to our home at The Engine Shed. This year we've created a TEDx Adventure to compliment our speaker programme and turn ideas into action.
Youth events are one of the most creative TEDx event types, since they are organized by, or catered toward, young people. Our programme features speakers aged 16 to 26, or those who can offer relevant insight to that age group.

Relaunched and reformatted the TEDxYouth@BrayfordPool programme will be split across two sites. The day starts with an adventure at Lincoln Minster School full of activities, workshops and unique experiences designed to help you embrace ideas worth spreading. It concludes on The Platform at The Engine Shed with a fantastic line-up of speakers
TEDx Salon events are unique, intimate gatherings that spark discussion on issues of interest to the local community. Salon events around the world range anywhere from dinner party settings to mini TEDx conference events, and anything in between. Our monthly salons feature screenings of existing TED Talks around a single topic to ignite conversation.
