THE ART OF GRATITUDE
Jacob’s workshop introduces a tool which can help you with creating true happiness: gratitude. The methods are simple and powerful but not easy as it might seem. Gratitude when practiced appropriately can provide a massive and positive change in your life, cleansing you from unwanted influences of social media, negative messages that surround us and shied you from struggles and difficult moments which we all face from time to time in our lives.
BODY POSITIVE
Zoe’s workshop explores the myths society has us believe; is our self-worth really measured by numbers or does it go a little deeper? Together we’ll explore perceived body flaws are and show how we can view ourselves differently, instead of pulling ourselves down. Let’s change the way we talk to our bodies, and ourselves, and embrace our differences. Let’s celebrate what make us good people!
BUILDING INCLUSIVE SOCIETIES
At the turn of a new decade, how has inclusion changed? How do we build inclusive societies for the future and what’s our role? As we start to talk more about identity, diversity and equality how do use these conversations to make a difference? This workshop will explore how we can hold better conversations to go forwards and make change in our communities. Through game and play, attendees will gain a further understanding of their role in building inclusive societies.
SPEAKER'S FISHBOWL
In a Fishbowl discussion speakers are seated in the centre of the room discussing a pre-selected topic while the audience are seated around them. At specified points the facilitator will stop the speakers conversation and ask the audience to discuss what they’ve heard, then switch the conversation back to the speakers to discuss and reflect upon what the audience have discussed.
